I wear this outside daily due to work. Not only does it protect from sun but keeps me very cool. I use a hard hat so the hoodie is perfect in protecting my ears/neck from sun. It is also very comfortable and I have tried many different brands of this type shirt and Habit is by far the best for me. I use the thumb holes all the time and the shirt does not stretch at armpits or shoulders, great design in taking that into consideration. I wear this hoodie so much that I do feel the difference when outdoors in sun and not wearing it.
